Marine World Uminonakamichi

Here you can see amazing animal shows at the marine theater. In the park alone, there are more than 20,000 creatures enclosed in 70 tanks of different sizes. There are a total of 100 sharks, and you will also be able to see some other creatures like sea lions and seals. This is one of the best family places that you and your children will love. Fukuoka Art Museum

For art lovers, the Fukuoka Art Museum is simply something you shouldn’t miss. The art museum is home to a variety of Japanese paintings and crafts.

Kawabata Shotengai

For the shopping enthusiast, the Kawabata Shotengai is cloud-9. A shopping district that covers four blocks, a tourist in Japan will definitely have fun jumping from one shop to another.
There you will find more than 100 shops with different kinds of food choices and souvenirs you can only find in Japan. Tochoji Temple

Another temple in Fukuoka that you shouldn’t miss is the Tochoji Temple, which has its own uniqueness to offer.
The temple dates back to the year 806. The main attraction in this temple is the largest seated Buddha statue that was built in 1992. In the temple, there are artifacts that you will not find anywhere else in Japan. Tochoji Temple also serves as the final resting place of the former rulers of Fukuoka.
