2. Champagne Pool, New Zealand

This is a colorful hot spring is located at Waiotapu park, New Zealand. Its temperatures raise up to 74 Celsius degrees. Among the minerals that are in the pool, you can find: Gold, Silver, Mercury and Sulfur.

3. Pink Lake – Lake Hiller, Australia

For years, scientists couldn’t figure out why does the water in the lake are pink. Recently discovered that the cause for it, is special algae that is living there.

4. The Snow Chimneys, Antarctica

This strange phenomenon happens because underground steams raise and burst out of these ice cubes, making the steam freeze instantly as it touches the air.

5. Tianzi Mountains, China

These unique mountains located in “Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province of China”.
The mountains cover up to 67 Square KM! And the highest peak is about 1,200 Meters!

These strange glowing water are a result of chemical reaction called bioluminescence, it occurs when a micro-organism in sea water is disturbed by oxygen.
